On September 27th, Laureate students attended the University Fair to learn about the universities they can apply to and about the programs they offer. It is a good opportunity to inquire and speak to the representatives that the websites may not have all the details to help students decide what programs to consider. Later in November, Ontario Tech University (former UOIT) that partners with Laureate came to the school to talk to the students directly about program options that is located in Oshawa, Ontario.
In October, OCIF organizes community colleges to participate in this event. Students who are encouraged to go to learn more about colleges because students don’t always consider going to a community college. They are not aware that from a community college program, students can still transfer to a university program seamlessly because certain college programs are partnered with universities.
