Gifted Arts

Laureate College GIFTED ARTS Program provides a unique and high standard program to pursue specialized learning paths in Dance, Drama, Music, Screen Arts, and Visual Arts.

Students will showcase their abilities as young artists through performances and exhibitions, enriched curriculum under the leadership of instructors and coaches trained in these areas and guest artists.

The Gifted Arts Pathway will lead to completing their Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) and preparing for admission to college and university. The Ontario Secondary School Diploma is an essential requirement by the Ministry of Education for every student to achieve or attend secondary school until the age of 18 years.

Laureate College will continue its legacy “to promote creative expression, inspire excellence, and instill artistic discipline in a supportive, collaborative, and challenging environment.” Laureate’s mantra is Forward Learning. Transforming People. It is about focusing on innovative, creative, and leading new thinking and infinite possibilities. The 6 global competencies are also embedded in all the courses.

The GIFTED ARTS students at Laureate College will attain:
  • Ontario secondary school credits to obtain their OSSD

  • Prepare an Arts Portfolio
Upon successful completion of these courses, students will discover that they will be well prepared for the next steps in their academic, personal, and professional growth.
