Safe and Secure Environment
As a private boarding and day school, Laureate College provides the following security measures to ensure a safe and secure learning and living environment for our boarding students:
- 24-hour security system
- Individual key fob entry and exit so all boarding students are digitally accounted for
- Sign-in/out system for dorm entry and exit
- Security cameras in all hallways, stairwells and common areas
- Live-in dorm parents for male and female dorms
Uniqueness
Our 50-acre campus features nearly 100 years of history and is adjacent to the North American ecological gem of Bruce Trail and other unique features include:
- Wildlife sightings – wild turkeys, Canadian geese, foxes, deer herds, etc.
- Direct access to 900 km of the Bruce Trail
- Within one hour drive to 20 post-secondary institutions
- Within 45 minutes drive to the City of Toronto
- Boarding program stays open during the holiday
- The only boarding school in Burlington City and nearby Waterdown Village
