LC Online Course Registration Procedure
To register for LC Online courses, please follow the steps outlined below:
- Course Selection: Browse the available courses and add your selected course(s) to your shopping cart.
- Shopping Cart:
Existing/New Students:
• If you are an existing student, please enter your Laureate College email address.
• If you are a new student, please provide the following information:
1. Full Name
2. Phone Number
3. Email Address
4. Date of Birth
5. Current School
6. Current Grade
Credit/Non-credit course
Course Quantity: Select the number of courses you wish to enroll in (1 to 8). Please note that the maximum number of courses per registration is 8.
Course Selection: Choose your desired courses from the drop-down list.
Additional Option: You may choose to add 5 hours of live sessions with an instructor for an additional $250. - Payment: Proceed to the payment section to complete your registration.
- Confirmation: New students will receive an email within 3 business days of completing the purchase. This email will include your account login information, as well as details about your course and subject teacher.

LC Online is a fully self-paced, asynchronous learning program. Students can start their courses at any time and complete them within a two-month period. All coursework is completed online through LC’s learning platforms, and teacher support is available via virtual office hours and email. For students who would like additional support, we offer an option to purchase 5 hours of live sessions with instructors for an additional $250. These live sessions provide personalized guidance and help to address any specific challenges you might encounter during your studies.
The 5-hour live session package is designed to offer you additional support over the course of your studies. Typically, these sessions are divided into 30-minute segments per week, giving you consistent, focused time with your instructor. The exact timing of these sessions will be arranged between you and the instructor, ensuring it fits into your schedule. This flexible approach allows you to get the help you need, when you need it, to maximize your learning experience.
Yes, students may have the option to switch programs if they find that they prefer a more structured learning environment. Please contact our admissions office to discuss your situation and make arrangements.
If you’re unable to complete a course within the two-month timeframe, you may request an extension or re-enroll in the course. Extensions are granted on a case-by-case basis and may incur additional fees.
Yes, the credits earned through the LC Online program are fully recognized by Ontario universities, colleges, and other institutions worldwide.
Assessments are typically submitted through our online platform. They may include essays, projects, quizzes, and exams. Each course will have specific assessment requirements, which will be communicated at the beginning of the course.
Yes, you can take up to 2 courses simultaneously within a two-month period. However, you can purchase up to 8 courses at one time, with the courses being delivered over an 8-month period. This allows you to plan your studies in advance while ensuring that you have enough time to complete each course effectively.
