Originally from Toronto and descent of English and Japanese heritage, Mr. Hayashi has been a full-time teacher at Laureate since 2019. Before joining Laureate, Mr. Hayashi lived in the United States, attended Fitchburg State University and played NCAA ice hockey.
Academic beliefs:
He believes a school is a place of growth and collaboration, where students can learn from their peers and teachers. It is important for schools to understand students’ different needs and opinions as everyone learns in different ways and comes from different social and demographic situations. Hard work and consistency are important to be successful in school. Creating an enjoyable environment where students can be comfortable and learn in their own ways is extremely important as a teacher.
