As a Camp Laureate volunteer, you’ll have the chance to work alongside a dynamic team, assist in creating memorable camp experiences, and directly impact the lives of children in a positive and meaningful way. Whether you’re looking to gain experience for future careers in education, childcare, or recreation, or simply want to be part of a fun and rewarding summer, we’d love to have you on board!

What You’ll Do:
- Assist Counselors: Help guide campers through daily activities, ensuring they stay engaged, safe, and having fun.
- Support Activities: Assist in running arts and crafts, sports, nature walks, team games, and more!
- Mentorship: Serve as a positive role model for younger campers, offering guidance and encouragement.
- Camp Prep & Cleanup: Assist with the setup and breakdown of lunch service, camp activities, and ensure materials are organized for use.
Who Should Apply?
We’re looking for enthusiastic individuals who are eager to make a difference! Ideal volunteers are:
- Ages 14+
- Passionate about working with kids and fostering a positive environment.
- Responsible, reliable, and willing to learn.
- Positive role model for young campers.
- Committed to having fun and being part of a team!
How to Apply:
- Complete the Application: Fill out the volunteer application form to tell us a bit about yourself and why you want to volunteer at camp. Please send your application form and resume to Katie and Emma at camps@laureatecollege.ca . Please include at least ONE personal or professional reference.
- Interview & Orientation: After reviewing your application, we’ll invite you for a brief virtual interview to discuss your availability and interests, followed by an orientation session where we’ll introduce you to the camp and our policies. Orientation will take place on site on Wednesday June 25, 2025 from 6-8pm.
- Join the Fun: Once you’re ready, you’ll jump into camp with both feet—helping kids, making memories, and gaining hands-on experience!
