To give students the opportunity to experience a Canadian sport, the students and staff went to enjoy dumpling lunch downtown and then made their way to The Bentway where you can rent skates and helmets.
For some students, this was their first time skating. Having a few hours to skate under the Gardiner Expressway, they were ready to go to the Christmas Market at the Distillery which was close by. The market had special kiosks to sell crafts and special gifts for those who were shopping for the Christmas Season. It was also a chance to taste some special treats around the holiday season.
